Telephonist/Administrator
(for maternity leave cover - immediate start to April 2006, possible permanent role)


We are seeking a Telephonist/Administrator to join our friendly team. 

This varied role includes:
• Answering incoming calls
• Liaising with colleagues and clients
• Making travel and accommodation arrangements
• Updating spreadsheets and databases
• Filing, archiving and managing post and stationery

We are seeking a pro-active Instrumentation Engineer to work with our newly appointed Instrumentations Manager to build up this side our business. You will be cross selling to our existing customers and developing new markets in areas such as the railways, piling and the underground. Tasks will include tendering, marketing, site visits, report writing and client liaison.

You will bring to the role:

- 2 years experience in instrumentation
- A relevant degree and/or technical qualifications

We are seeking a self-motivated, adaptable IT Programmer/Engineer to be based in our Instrumentations Department to write routines and verify data for our Instrumentation programmes. You will also maintain and trouble-shoot our server, two networks and various mobile offices.

- Minimum 2 years experience in a comparable role
- ‘A’ level standard education or relevant technical qualifications
- A good understanding of instrumentation and/or ground investigation work.

We are seeking a highly motivated, commercially minded and enthusiastic Environmental Engineer to expand this part of our business. The role will include marketing, developing new client relationships, tendering, site visits, liaising with clients reporting and writing articles.

- Be up to date with current legislation

Trainee CPT Operators and CPT Operators


We are seeking Assistant CPT Operators and CPT Operators with HGV licences to join our expanding teams in the north and south of England.

- After completing our training programme you will be conducting cone tests, MOSTAP sampling and using push-in instrumentation.
- The role will require you to travel and stay away from home.
- You will be operating as part of a team, working accurately to achieve deadlines and produce quality results.
- A basic knowledge of computers will be required but full training on our systems will be given.
- Good communications skills are required as you will be liaising internally with our Project Managers and Operations team and externally with our clients on site.
