6m reach
UK14, the 360 road-rail CPT rig was used. Its 6m reach enabled tests to be carried out from one track. This proved to be extremely useful as there were a number of other activities being carried out at the same time.
8 CPTs, 1piezometer
Over one shift, 8 CPTs were carried out to a maximum test depth of 14m. A standpipe piezometer was also installed to a depth of 6m. The CPT results were processed directly the job was finished and sent through within hours.
