A421 improvements
CPTU (piezocone) and dissipation tests, and the installation of vibrating wire piezometers. The first of each pair of CPTUs was used as a ‘guide hole’. With test results appearing instantaneously on screen, the client’s engineer could immediately decide the depths for the dissipation tests.
The M2 - gamma cone testing, video cone testing and CPTs
In 19, 6 hour night sessions, a total of 349 tests were carried out. Factual reporting was carried out on a daily basis.
