Thermal Response Testing - TRT

Lankelma Green Energy offers thermal response testing (TRT)�a means of measuring the thermal conductivity of the ground. This information is essential in the precise design of borehole heat exchangers and is recommended if the required heat load is greater than 50kW or more than 10 boreholes are required. TRT is a complete service, independent of our GSHE installations.
Client confidence Clients can be confident in the end results of their investment. The estimated number of required BHEs (borehole heat exchangers) can be reduced when test results show greater thermal conductivity than originally allowed for. see graphs Conversely, with lower conductivity results, the number of BHEs can be increased to guarantee system performance. Once the thermal response testing is completed, the heat exchanger can be utilised in the borehole array � no wasted expenses. see method Click here to download technical TRT data
